Opening Conference
The Rome Startup Week 2018 Opening Conference will be entirely dedicated to the meeting of the startups' ecosystem's representatives with the managers of the major institutions involved in the development of the innovative entrepreneurship at the local, national and international level.

The President of Roma Startup, Gianmarco Carnovale, will open the conference discussing about the birth of the Rome Startup Week, its evolution and its future ambition to develop a federative role within the startups' ecosystem in Rome and Italy.
The Regional Director for Economic Development, Gian Paolo Manzella, will intervene explaining the Regione Lazio's policies when dealing with the support of regional startups' birth and development, attraction of investments and international promotion.
The President of the Chamber of Commerce of Rome, Lorenzo Tagliavanti, will witness the Comune di Roma involvement in supporting initiatives and projects to the advantage of the development of the local innovative sector.
The Manager for Entrepreneurship - Incentives and Innovation at Invitalia, Andrea Miccio, will talk about the Smart & Start program and national policies to support innovative companies.
Concluding the conference, will be awarded the Startup Weekend SportTech and the Mobility HACK winning projects, which will take part in the selection phase of the Gladiator Challenge, on Friday, April 13th.
Silicon Drinkabout will host a networking cocktail at the end of the conference.
