IMPRENDILAB – Lab for the promotion of the entrepreneurship and innovation

WHO WE ARE – IMPRENDILAB is a Lab for the promotion of the entrepreneurship and innovation of the Università di Cassino e del Lazione Meridionale. It provides activities for entrepreneurial education and support for business creation. On the basis of an evidence-based approach, it provides activities of theoretical and applied research to find tools and measure to the advantage of the entrepreneurship and business creation. With this aim, it produces reports and statistical information.
TARGET – IMPRENDILAB mainly works with young students and graduates. Aiming at co-creating value for the area, it collaborates with entrepreneurs, managers, public administrators, and actors within the third sector.
HISTORY – IMPRENDILAB was born in 2009 at the Università di Cassino e del Lazio Mediridionale in response to the irreversible labor market transformations that have generated, on one hand, an increase of the human capital need and, on the other, the “democratization” of production means. These tendencies, fasten up by tech innovations on global scale, are confirmed in Italy. A generation of new entrepreneurs is growing: young people mainly coming from universities, with a strong inclination to internationalization and new practices, tools and management methods experimentation. The revitalization of the entrepreneurial fabric and the stimulation of the development of innovative startups are now shared goals for public policies and programs – both on the European and local level – as well as for public-private initiatives and partnerships. In this context, IMPRENDILAB was born and developed to promote entrepreneurship as a key expertise to better off human capital.
