Opportunities for cooperation among EU startup hubs
The WeP-UP initiative to share regional models for startups acceleration in ICT
The experience in creating startup ecosystem is growing and lessons for cities and regions around the world are spreading. Many startup hubs are becoming reference models for developing local ecosystems. Which are the strengths and assets needed? Which actions can be taken to really accelerate growth? How can someone attract attention, capitals and talents? How to launch an ecosystem into a new phase of development?
The workshop will focalize on these questions and will analyze strategies and programmes at the international level that may help building virtuous and dynamic startup ecosystems in the ICT field. The discussion will start from experiences that regional innovation stakeholders from different European regions will share, to then explore potential paths of cooperation in the framework of the EU initiative WeP-UP - West Pomeranian ICT Start Up Hub.
