Early-stage Startup Competition

The Gladiator Challenge is a pitch competition between Startup with a validated idea and
looking for Seed Investments. The event will close the Rome Startup Week 2019.

Projects are pre-selected by the Roma Startup team through an open call for startups in "idea
stage". These companies are not making revenues yet and did not raised funds over € 100,000. After the selection phase, the top 10 startups will have the opportunity to present their ideas before the jury and an international audience of investors, entrepreneurs, institutional representatives and the media.

What: Italian Idea-stage Startup Competition

The selection will be limited to 20 startups.

Criteria:

• No Revenue
• Maximum Fundraising of 100K€

The participation is free and each selected startup will be given a desk, an electrical outlet and wi-fi connection for the duration of the event and, if interested, on the previous day (Thursday, Apr. 11th).

Startups participating in the Exhibit will be represented by 2-members; so that one of them can attend workshops or the pitch competition while the other stays at the desk.
